What helps you most to handle difficult tasks?

Handling difficult tasks can be demanding and stressful. Something that works well for me is to calm with deep breathing exercises and make a mental list or even a physical (written) list with all pros and cons of my possible actions.

i find overthinking and role playing about how it will go are way i procrastinate .....
i find tackling difficult or even uncomfortable head on is the best approach .........
@amiablePeace77 I like to think on difficult tasks for a couple days. Sleeping on problems often gives me deeper insights.
Breaking problems down into bite sized tasks also helps. That way I can prioritize and do the most important or most basic tasks first.
@amiablePeace77 I break complicated problems down into small tasks and try to focus on the next small, measurable task. This builds confidence and enables me to move on to the next task. Much like focusing on the 25m ahead of me when traveling on a large journey.
