Traumatic Experiences Community Check-In: Saturday-Sunday, 1-2 August 2020
Hello everyone, and hello to the new month!
As always, this is a supportive space, and its optional to participate in check-ins.
Todays topic is going to cover growth and change.
For some this can be a difficult topic. For others it can be on the easier side.
What is growth? Growth is defined as the experiences or development process of individuals.
What is change? Change is defined as the act or instance of becoming different or transforming.
Some signs this is happening is generally but not limited to:
1. Appreciation of life.
2. Relationships with others.
3. New possibilities.
4. Personal strength.
5. Spiritual or emotional change.
There are more ways to notice growth or change in our own life. We are each the expert on ourselves. There are just general ideas that fit into many examples or definitions.
Why is it important? Growth and change are often cited as part of the healing process. Something that is different for everyone. Each person is unique, so is what weve gone through. What's happened doesn't always mean bad, sometimes it leads to positivity, and that is a precious thing.
Please remember you are not alone in this journey, we are here to support one another.
Just going to leave a couple general questions for everyone to answer.
Check-In Questions:
How are you feeling?
What are some positive things you are looking forward to? (it can be this weekend, the next week, this next month, whenever)
What is your opinion on growth and change?
Feel free to check in again over the weekend if anything changes or something comes to mind that you want to mention.
(I have work so Ill be replying when I can)
