Traumatic Experiences Community Daily Check-in: Thursday November 15th

Hello Trauma Community!

We are currently experiencing an ice storm here so it's a good day to get cozy by the fire with a warm blanket and tea.

Next week is Thanksgiving here in the US (which means Cupsgiving here on 7 Cups which is yay!). But seeing family, going to large gatherings and holidays in general can be an expecially stressful time.

- What would you add to this check-list for self-care during the holidays?

- How can we be especially mindful of both our boundaries and boundaries of others during the holidays?

- What is your favorite holiday memory? (can be related to any holiday)

Say hi, share a cup of tea, wave. I'm glad you're here. heart

Holidays are tough for me because of the loneliness. I don't have much contact with family anymore. Usually, it's just me and my son so I don't bother with big meals or anything.

Having a tough week. Feel so stuck in the past...ugh
