Traumatic Experiences Community Weekend Chill July 27th- 29th 2018
Good Morning Alle, I hope you are well. Today I don't wish to think on Trauma. I don't wish to hear politics. I will not wear aniones white feather or carry their white flag. Today I just want me to be me, and you to be you. Today I don't wish to see problems, just people. We alle got the weekend to chill together, Lets hang out and have some fun. By alle means we are alle here to support you if you if you need help with anithing, But I'd like to see a day of fun. We alle know each other through our trauma very well, and we are a tight family in our mutual support, love and respect for each other. I'd like to see us look beyond the gloom just once. For a day even I wish we could just be regular people and hang out. I'd love to know everyones hobbies, likes, loves, ambitions. What makes people happy? Again, we are alle very happy and totally focused on helping anyone whom needs our help, if you are hurting today that's ok. Speak up if you need us and we will be here for you, I guess I really just want a day of peace and fun.

I love the idea of a weekend fun thread, just a little break from all the dark stuff... and well, I think we got to know each other in a quite uncommon way, like backwards... well, when you normally meet new people you first learn about how they are, what they like, hobbies, films, music etc... and then eventually you get to know their deepest thoughts... we started with the deepest and darkest thoughts, with things we perhaps didn't even share with our closest people irl...

ok, so sth about me... ehm...
hobbies, not really, I love to read and I really enjoy running (right now I can't cause of an injury, but hope to start again some day)
films... ehm.. lots 
well, favourite genre would probably be horror, yay! zombies but I also love animated films or drama and yeah, sometimes on a sunday afternoon even some romantic comedy.... and well, I'm a tv junkie, love series... Walking Dead is one of my favourites and, contrary to that, Grey's Anatomy and Gilmore Girls
music, hell, yes, that's my topic I think I couldn't breathe without music... favourite genres, well, quite obviously Metal, Death Metal to be more specific, some of New Metal and Thrash Metal... and then, Punkrock, I'm an old Punk old things, new things, just well, fast and loud.... the rest is a mix of different things from the Alternative genre, I just need some good guitars, good drums and sth unique, like a special voice or catching lyrics...
besides all of that, I'm a quite calm person, love animals and nature, I have a special love for trees and water, need that around me to be happy...

Yep I totally agree with you on alle but the horror and zombies. I have seen enough gore in my life and m alle set. But ok you like The Walking Dead and The Gilmore Girls? That's just twisted hon lol. For music our tastes are much the same, anithing but the j word.

@courteousNorth5140 He North! When I think about you I think of someone very warm and inviting. I told you that before. Even made you Indonesian, lol. I am probably very prejudiced but I can't seem to connect the music and movie preferences with you.
I have always found horror and death metal scary. Triggering even. It gives me nightmares.
I see more people here that seem to like it. I am not judging it is just that in my head it kinda confuses.
I am learning a lot of new things here and I am realizing how narrow minded I can be.
I am still not going to watch horror, sorry. Will sneak to another cinema and watch Peter Rabbit instead. 😁

I like bearded men by the way and I think you're right, looks can be deceiving.

and yeah, I think if you look close enough you can find sth you have in common with most of the people and sometimes I really enjoy seeing the difference in people, opening your horizon a bit sometimes...
oh and I like bearded men too, have one here looks a bit like a bearded zombie right now.... so perhaps that's why I like Zombie films

I like writing reading going nature seeing friends and photography.
I guess I like movies based off real stories and sometimes comedies. Sometimes fantasy because people hopefully can be anything if it's in the future or space like more equality
I like old music I guess. Really just all kinds. My friend showed me some African folk music and I love it a lot. I love Regina Spektor and even Bjork so "weird"ones I guess

I've been walking a few blocks to my friends house each day to watch her cats and water her plants and such. It's good exercise but it makes me happy because every day I pass this house with these 2 dogs, 1 big 1 little. And the little one barks their head off at me every time
Like I'm not even near them and their so protective it's adorable

I would love to meet your horse! (Platy is lover of most things equestrian!)
And of course it's a baby bunny - so very sweet!!! But then I'm biased. I learned of the sight of new newborn bunnies when I was about 11 years old. My cousins' rabbit had just had her litter - so we were able to see them (not touch!) at just a few hours old!!

@cyanPlatypus6370 Hej Platy, yes when chickens sleep outdoors they roos in trees. Wild turkey do this too. In a chicken shack there is usually a rack for them to perch on and sleep.
@Raveninthelabrynth - yes. We have a chicken house (not a coup, because it looks so much more like a half house) and they have a lattice of sorts to perch on for sleeping. I've heard of wild turkeys in the trees, but not chickens. Interesting :)

I live in the Netherlands. I have 2 beautiful daughters. I play tabletennis. I was number 8 in the nationals so I am pretty good.
I love singing and dancing. I used to sing in a band and dance in a samba showgroup. I still perform once in a while.
I don't have the patience to watch tv, so I don't really watch. Sometimes a movie is fun. My favorite movies are Lord of the rings, Pirates of the Caribbean and Shrek. Weird combo, I know.
I love learning new things. I am always studying something. I have different degrees in various subjects. Ranging from Event Management to Technical Informatics.
I like to laugh. I think I am a fun person to be with. (most of the time)
I have a cat, her name is Nini and she is cute.

I like to bake (and eat ) chocolate things are my favourite! I love double chocolate chip cookies that are fresh from the oven and the choc chips are melted, or a warm gooey choc fudge cake :)
I like to walk and take in nature, I love the songs the birds sing and the smells of the flowers, I love the fresh air to breathe deep in to my lungs, I love the simplicity to just be.
Currently I love listening to Florence + the machine, Aurora, Eivør, mostly indie music. I like rock, punk, metal things too.

Well as alle know (I guess) I live in the country on a very quiet farm. Noise around here can be the occasional party at a neighbours, but mostly is cows lol.
I love alle musik but Jazz. And I used to play in punk bands bak in the 80's, playing many shows in New York, Boston, and DC.

In my leisure time I play theatre, read a lot, write and sometimes hang out with friends if there is time. I also like to volunteer at my local library, primary school or refugee center.
My favourite kind of movie is every movie that makes me laugh, so mostly comedies.
And my favourite kind of Music (because I'm not sure anymore whether you asked for Music or movies) are musical Soundtracks or Music by the Band Bastille :)

@sincerePark336 Depends, m 49, but I am in the third year of male to female hormonal transition. I am chemically induced back into puberty but as the opposite gender. My hormone levels are set to that of a 13 year olde girl an m goin through it hard lol

Dont watch much in the way of tv due to erratic shift patterns at work but I do enjoy crime shows such as CSI, Criminal Minds but think my favourite show has got to be Game of Thrones
Music wise Im a bit old school with the likes of Iron Maiden, Metallica, Guns and Roses and do like Billy Idol
Dont really have any hobbies as such but do enjoy the outdoors, where I live I am surrounded by hills, fells and lakes so plenty of places for me to go walking.
Random fact about me - I have climbed Britains highest peak three times in fancy dress to raise money for charity

Hello everyone. I am new to 7 cups as well as this group. I love music and art. I started painting about 3 years ago for therapeutic reasons and fell in love with it. I also try to write poetry which has been a great release as well. I listen to most music and enjoy horror, suspense, and thriller movies. I don't really know what else to say abour myself feel free to ask me if you'd like to know anything else about me. I will either tell you or tell you I am not comfortable talking about that. I have so much anxiety and depression I just don't know what to do anymore. I was told today by a dr that I was not medically stable for him to help me and that my PCP and specialist need to help me prior to him helping me. Is he crazy? What does he think I have been trying to make my doctors do for a very long time. If he thought I was so medically unstable why didn't he admit me to the ER and have them start figuring things out so the doctors could help me? I then called my PCP and the triage nurse said that I had to see my PCP to figure out the most urgent issues. So, can they not determine this from everything that I have been saying to them that are issues and my issues list that I gave her just last Thursday when I saw her? I am just so confused and feel like they aren't understanding my pain, my issues, that they don't care, that they don't speak English.
