Domestic Abuse

Hey,

Domestic Abuse is one of the most indiscriminate issue I have personally ever known.

It doesn't care about your gender, sexuality, ethnicity, disability, origin or anything else for that matter.

Neither does the perpetrators

Domestic Abuse comes in many forms and if I'm being completely honest, I never even knew for a while I was being domestically abused.

The shouting, name calling, bullying, knife to my throat, plates thrown at me, even to a point that you feel you can't leave, and whatever reason is telling you that you can't leave, it's a lie, Domestic Abuse wears you down, and you could never imagine how bad it got, I was literally a suicide risk, police around me daily due to suicide threats and attempts, police breaking my door in, banned from my children and you know...

My wife (the perpetrator) - Telling me she doesn't love me, never has and nobody else will ever love or care for me. I guess that part seems to be true, especially in the real world.

... I may not be great, but I'm alive, and I'm happy, I have the most beautiful and incredible children in the world who I absolutely worship, and life is better.
