Just venting..
So I'm not sure if I'm allowed to talk about this on here... im so sorry if im not. If im not aloud to just take it down or I'll take it down. I'm not really sure how this app works..
When I was young I was sexually assaulted but my older brother. I didn't know better and he would touch me inappropriately and I didnt know that I wasnt supposed to do that stuff.. now I dont know what to do. My parents wont let me see therapy and I dont trust to tell sntherpsist without my brother getting in trouble and I'm scared.. I dont know what to do. I just need a place to verb about this stuff.. so thank you for letting me.

This is definitely the place to talk about this. I am sorry to hear about what happened to you. I can understand your fear to talk about this with your therapist. It sounds like you care about your brother despite what has been done to you. May I ask is this abuse still happening? If it is not happening still, you will not cause any trouble by telling your therapist. They are there to help you.
Feel free to look through the threads in this community and look at the calendar to see what events are going on! I am glad you're here and taking part of this community.

Sorry for the late reply. Things have been crazy with school. But to clarify the abuse inst happening anymore, it just hasn't been really easy to deal with. It makes me sick. Thank you for your concern

hugs. I am glad that the abuse is not happening now. I can understand that it would be difficult to manage.
@Ilovecatssomuch101 I'm so sorry that this happened to you, but I'm very relieved that it isn't happening now. The number one thing you need to know is that this was NOT your fault. You are in no way responsible for what happened. Sexual molestation can create so many problems for the victim. Do everything you possibly can to start healing now so that it doesn't become a lifelong problem. Read books about healing from abuse. Find a good listener on here and when you feel safe, pour your heat out to them. Cry when you need to. As soon as it's possible for you to get a therapist, make sure it's one experienced with sexual abuse. The ones who aren't can often do more damage. You are very courageous to post here. I wish you lots of support, and hope you're on the road to finding the help you need and deserve.
