Who is your safe person, or what is your safe place? Where and with who do you feel safe and calm?

My safe person is my best friend, Samiya. My safe place is in the corner of my room with my beanbag or all the way up on my bed with a bunch of blankets and pillows. I feel safe and calm with my Dad, mostly and where ever he is and I'm there, would be the place I feel safe and calm.

The beach with my cat sitting beside me. She makes me feel safe, and so does the beach, or really anywhere outside <3

As cheesy as it may sound, I feel safest in my boyfriend’s arms. He knows what I’ve gone through and has always listened to me whenever I need to cry or vent out my feelings. I can trust him with my life, and I do.

That asides, to a lesser extent, I also feel safe when I have a book with me. I love reading, and a book feels like a physical shield for me to protect me from the harshness of the real world. In a way, I can escape into the sanctuary of the story.
