Childish disorder
Good morning / Good evening / Hi hello
I was reading a lot in different communities to find smth for myself but here I kinda haven't seen anything about ppl with problem that a part of their mind stayed in early growing age (a child)
If someone has something similar i would like to start a discussion about that.
@CamiTheSandwich It's sometimes said that a part of everyone's mind remains a child, and indeed that this is necessary so that adults can relate to children, engage in play, and so forth. So it's interesting that in your case it's an actual problem for you.
Is it that when you were a child you didn't have a problem, but in some way you are now stuck in childhood, in some sense? How does it affect you, now that you're an adult?

@RarelyCharlie thank you for you quick response
For me. Ist it sometimes that I like jump into my child self, once or twice it happened while I was *** with my bf and I think is disgusting. I know I'm actually an adult but there are situations where I just lost control or even have time blanks
@CamiTheSandwich I'm not an expert, but jumping into a child self, losing control and having time blanks all remind me of dissociative disorders, and we have a forum here: Dissociation & DID.
You can also find more information about dissociative disorders on the Internet, of course.

Hi Cami! It’s me again haha. I think you can read more about inner child. It was believed that those who grown up in dysfunctional family will becomes mature more earlier than they should that a part of their child self was suppressed in the body. When they grow up and met someone they love, they might express that children behaviour, wishing that suppressed self to be seen.
I’m not sure if this is what you meant. But if it is, it is quite normal. Embrace that child in you. Reparent yourself. Talk to yourself like how you’d talk to a small kid that wants to feel heard, seen, and loved. Play bubbles. Eat ice cream messily. Love yourself :)
I LOVE BUBBLES!
Same!! Embrace that child in you. Accept yourself and that childish side! (P/s I did accidentally expressed my childish side with my guy while we’re having xxx but surprisingly he enjoys it lol it makes things spicy he said) So don’t be too harsh on yourself okey? You’re completely normal and adorable. Sending you love and wink hehe
