I needed to look into this more, and if I understand correctly, it’s similar to dissociation dreams. While I can’t fully relate to that, what I do understand is having nightmares not only at night but during the day as well—when I’m awake, yet so exhausted, tired, or medicated that I can’t wake up or physically stop the dream. I can relate to that feeling because it truly takes away the time you could be spending living your own life and finding your own path. It’s like being repeatedly victimized by trauma, and I’m sorry you’re experiencing this, but you’re not alone. We’re definitely both suffering just in different ways.

Yes I've been through maladaptive daydreaming, caused by my traumatic childhood 🥺

But hey

If i can leave that behind, you can too 🎯🎯. In my case, I changed my environment and was physically in a better phase of my life. Then I found a no. of videos on YouTube that helped me overcome the remaining triggers and habits

I know it's tough but I also know you're tougher ! 💪 ✨️ Take care and i hope you find the solutions you need. ❣️❣️
