Hello All,
I’m struggling with my marriage due to PTSD from childhood trauma and now I have been dealing with Fibromyalgia and chronic pain, also Anxiety from not knowing if my husband is going to be supportive today or the moment or not.
I try to talk to him about it and he just doesn’t understand why I’m struggling or what exactly I’m struggling with.

@creativeThinker782006 I'm sorry that he doesn't understand, although you've made an effort to explain what you're going through. These are issues that have a deep impact on a person, and if the partner refuses to understand, the choice is between hiding and repressing your struggles or continuing to fight every time and issue that he doesn't understand comes up.
None of these choices will benefit your well-being, and your relationship will be at serious risk in the long run. He needs to understand that your relationship will eventually be affected, and this lack of understanding risks blowing up in your faces later, and after a long time of suffering in silence. You can try couple counseling, or seeking professional help to explain him the situation and works things out together. Either way, you don't have to ignore this and try to bottle it up. Being a couple means facing things together.
