It my fault
I told my mom what happened to me, she was so mad "I thought you were a virgin" she said, how could you be so stupid, why didn't you tell me even your little cousin knows right from wrong and would immediately tell someone if that kind of stuff happened to her.
You disappointed me, we can't tell your dad about this it will ruin the whole family, I kept crying because now I regret telling her, I told her I need professional help but she said if I stop thinking about it I will get better. She never mentioned it again after that.
She was wrong I didn't get better, I can't live my house and when I do I get panic attack. I cry every night before I go sleep, no friends to talk to because I ghosted everyone. The only thing my parents care about is school and future, I'm not even sure I want to go to school and I can't tell my dad because am scared of him and there is nothing my mom can do about it.
@amicablePapaya5116 Of all the things she could have said to you, she said all the wrong ones. I'm so sorry. It is not and I mean it is absolutely not your fault. No one asks for bad things to happen to them. We don't always think clearly when things happen or we're often threatened to keep quiet. Or more often we already feel such shame that we can't speak up. We're shocked. We're traumatized.
I don't think they would believe me instead they're probably going to tell their parents and my dad will find out. My parents don't really have a strong relationship with their family so that's out of the question. There is no one I can talk to, it always been me and my thoughts.
The fact that I still live in the same house where it happened makes it worse, I hate here so much and I don't know how much of this I can take btw thank you for replying, it means a lot to me.
@amicablePapaya5116 I wish I knew what to say to help you better. It would be incredibly hard to live in the same place. I do understand your fear of your father finding out. I do wish you didn't feel you have to be silent but I also understand why
@mytwistedsoul

You deserve all the support through these times ): im so sorry your mum reacted like this. You didn't deserve or want anything that happened to you, and I cant begin to imagine how it must feel to receive this reaction when opening up. We are here for you, you're not alone 💜
@TabbyCat97 Thank you for replying back and for your help 💙 You're awesome-r 😊
@amicablePapaya5116Im so sorry for what you are going through. Oftentimes the people we think will help us... just arent there for us. If you have any belief in God, just ask him to help you. God is the only thing that I can truly count own. Its sad that those closest to us hurt us the most. Hang in there. We can chat anytime... ive been with my boyfriend for 3 yrs+... he has been extremely difficult the last 6-7 months. We (or I) are moving to Colorado in less than 2 weeks and he is upsetting me with emotional abuse often. I have anger from how hes treated me and it builds up. Today was bad . but we got thru it. Hes so strange at night, waking me up, accusing me of lying, but Im getting ready to move to a great place where life will be better

Oh, My God, That was terrible of your mom to say that to you. Your mom sounded just like my mom when that happened to me, No it will not go away without proper treatment to help you process that traumatic episode, @mytwistedsoul gave you some doggone good advice.
I am so sorry that this happened and you feel you have no one to tell. You can not keep that buried inside of yourself because it will cause many more unwanted symptoms. You may be able to call a hotline in your state to just have someone to talk to about this, Using them may bring your parents to have to get involved.
My country doesn't really have a lot of resources regarding my mental health and even if they do, I don't think they'll care so I don't want to waste my time telling them what happened and nothing gets done besides I care too much about my family to let them know what happened maybe I should just stick to my mom's advice.
I mean am dieing inside everyday because everyone has refused to help me but it still better than letting my dad know what happened.
Thank you.

I understand and am so sorry that you are forced to keep silent about this matter. When we are forced to hide our secrets they carry an unconscious turmoil inside because the brain is unable to categorize the incident into its proper place, therefore, causing it to cause more stress in our head and our emotions and even affect us physically.
I agree with you that family is very important but let me remind you that you are too. You should not have to choose between yourself and your family. There is what is called Self Preservation. The lack of dealing with it and keeping silent is that it still has power over you to be unable to heal properly.
I do however understand your position and I respect your decision to do what you feel is right for your self. We are still here for you at any time you just need an ear or a friend😊
