Losing it

Here lately, I have been struggling pretty hard. I'm ok on the outside, but the inside is a wreck. I've been trying the things they taught me in therapy but they aren't working. I'm tired.

You really are a kind person who deserves a break and to see how beautiful she is and you are really trying 💛

Thank you, I appreciate it. It feels like the trying isn't good enough though. They say that if you're in a crisis, like SH urges or ideations, then to call a helpline. That's everyone's favorite answer. The crisis has become a safety net. None of that stuff works, not for the ones who are truly having a crisis. The helpline volunteers read from a book that will give them answers to common questions, the hospitals are a scare tactic, doctors want to prescribe meds, and therapists teach you skills that don't help like they help everyone else. People get pushed onto the next person in moments of crisis. These things are only meant to distract you and hopefully youll be distracted long enough to where you don't feel a certain way anymore until the next trigger happens. It's an endless cycle of bs. It makes it seem hopeless.

@Tayy2295 I'm sorry you're going through all of this. I'm not a professional to speak like I know best but I've learned that sometimes nothing could fix that you can't see hope but time, the acceptance helped me let go of trying to fix how I feel and just allow good things to happen even if I don't "see" hope in them or feel they may work and I hope maybe sharing this makes you feel seen and stay longer with less suffering cause you don't deserve it and I see you and understand your position you don't have to force yourself to believe it gets better if the best you can do to stay is to act like it so be it

@Tavy2295

Sorry to hear you are struggling inside. You're not alone. I know what it's like to be told to, "remember this, or do this instead", etc ....

In my previous therapy I felt that there was a disconnect between what I am supposed to do, and then actually doing it. It isn't always easy to hear the words of professional advice, and then have your brain make a "new pathway" for growth and healing.

Be easier on yourself and try to be patient, healing takes time. Blessings

@Tayy2295 hey Tayy

words of Mary Anne Radmacher: Courage doesn't always roar sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow
