My present traumas strengthen my past traumas

Hi everyone! Seems like my problem is I still didn't deal with my past traumas (bullying, rejection, family problems) plus I keep living my today's life in some traumatic situations I can't deal with properly (signs of narcissistic abuse, family trauma from the past experience, self isolation behavior and avoidance). There are days I think like: I wish I could sleep longer and don't meet me and my reality, it sucks. I see now that all my thinking slowly shifts to the phrase: I don't know how to live and feel this life through my body and mindset, and I feel like a burden.

It scaries me so much, deep down I want to get back to normal and get something from life I craved but didn't have.

I'd like to know what I can do now and how can I recognize when it's the time I can't work on it alone and need a specialist. If there's anyone who goes or went through something similar, what would you say about it from your own experience.

And thank you for future answers

Unresolved bullying shows up all the time in unexpected ways 🩷

You accept people's bad treatment .

You let people overstep your boundaries.

You always blame yourself.

You carry the burden.

You find it hard to say no.

To deal with confrontation.

You keep your expectations with people low.

You don't put yourself first.

It's important to talk.

To process.

To heal

To be treated the way you deserve and to finally believe and know that nothing the bullies said or did was true or your fault 🩷

In one way it seems like it should be easy to forget the past and move on or forget but it always has this way of coming back to haunt us.

Unfortunately as rough as it is, eventually we all need to face it and accept, yes this is not what I deserved but it is the reality of it.

Then opening up, talking, writing, whatever the method you choose.. It then needs to be aired out and acknowledged completely, this is what happened.....

I can't sugar coat it.

It may hurt and feel raw to admit it, but it's just the necessary process. I don't have the answers but I know this is what I had to do for myself, to even start to function properly.
