Scar Appreciation Day ‖ Tw: Trauma and scars
Hi lovelies. How have you been doing?🥰
Today (October 22nd) is National Scar Appreciation Day.
A lot of us have them: They are not beautiful, but they are there; on your body, reminding you of a dark history.
But scars also remind us that we survived, we can heal, it's over.
I'm so proud of you; you made it. A lot has happened to you, but you came right on top. No one could have done a better job than you have done.
I hope life treats you gently with love and compassion. Please remember to be gentle with yourselves.

Activities;
• What can you do today to take better care of yourself?
• What kind of apple do you like best? Green, red or yellow?

a friend that a social worker and has DID too. told me that the scars are marks of honor. due to they say how strong we are and how brave we be to still be a live and taking our lives back day by day.
when i was 15 year old my dad was going to kick me out. he said i was to honest and out of touch with reality. i was given a song that night in a dream. in the dream we was told the warrior is a child. there a song by that name too.
The Warrior Is a Child by Twila Paris it always been very dear to me. we did not end up being kicked out of our home. but this song helped so much.
apple i like most in red but called pink lady,
one thing i can do today for self care is to rest and not allow the limitation we have to define us.

I'm glad you are going to take some rest today.
@Apeatrice
thank you after the apartment inspection that we did pass. we last-night went to bed and we be honest today we end up not getting up until 4pm. yes that a long time to sleep. but after not being able to really rest for days. due to the inspection coming up. think we just needed to sleep that long. we feeling better after it over and we got some good peaceful sleep.
