Hi uh I'm terrible at Introductions I'm new to seven cups my mother showed me this app and said to express my emotions and so on, I am 13, and I'll call this person "Jackson" if this is not your kind of thing please please do not look at it. I was 9-12 when Jackson started touching me he was my "step dads" brother and lived with us, I always acted like things were giddy til one day I realized it's not I had just turned 13 realized I am (most likely) hyper sexual it feels often weird but let's get back on track when Jackson started touching me I was petrified to tell my mom I didn't think she puld take my side until I realized I was wrong and needed to tell her but a peer support I talked to earlier that day beat me to it she was heartbroken and I still feel bad I'm learning to heal from her crying and having a breakdown as my godmother comforted her, I still feel like it's my fault for speaking about it if I hadn't dropped that bomb before we could move i wouldn't be part of this *** I am in now but I'm slowly crawling out of it now that it's just me and my mother living alone again, maybe I ruined her chance at love because I was selfish, but I'll do what ever it takes to make it up to her(sorry if I'm scrambling topic to topic sometimes that's how I talk) when he first touched me we were rough housing and it went to far and I'm pretty you can guess from there am I the bad guy for speaking about it?

@Aylaisherr

No you are NOT the bad one....

This was an adult. we can not go back in time but if we could you see now that speaking up is NOT the problem what he was doing was.  Making a victim afraid to speak up is often the first thing a person like that does.

Whatever the fallout was is NOT your fault at all ..maybe you saved your mom if your "stepdad" was not appalled that something like this was happening. That does not sound like a good guy for her.

My mother says the same the same thing she wish could back in time and make sure he didn't meet me I don't how to comfort but I always try to tell her not to blame herself if I don't blame her and you're definitely right my step father would take his anger out with verbal abuse but if I did something "wrong" which I will admit I did but it was normal kid stuff he would leave marks all over my body and so on she realized the day I begged for him to stop hitting me he made her think it was discipline until she knew it was fast out abuse and we planned on moving and she said she would never let another man lay his hands on me, I'm glad we left tbh this happened a few months a lot has happened in this small time span

Sweetheart, try to text me because this tragedy is about YOU and not your mom, and you need to understand it.

I am truly sorry you went through that, no child should suffer that kind of pain and confusion. As another survivor of child sexual abuse I can tell you, nothing of this could be your fault. You didn't ruin anything by opening up about what he did to you. Don't ever blame yourself for your mom's feelings, she wants the best for you. You didn't ruin her chance at love, if someone did so, it was the one who abused you but it wasn't you. Opening up about what happend isn't selfish at all, it is extremely brave from you. I am happy you are no longer in contact with him. I hope you find peace and happiness soon. I am always here if you need someone to listen. 💞
