Traumas in Childhood
Having experienced different types of trauma in my childhood, has made me become more of a homebody. Home is where I feel the safest and at least my energy will not be drained. Being in the public, no matter where I'm at, I'm always on high alert of my surroundings. At least, it has helped develop good observation skills.
With those traumas, it has kept me afraid to step out of my comfort zone. So I believe, the only way to break the wall, is if I move out if the country. Hence, I'm finally making a move to make a career change early next year, in January. Follow my dreams, and hope for the best. I need a change in lifestyle. In another country, where I know nobody and no one knows me, I don't have to worry about the childhood traumas and actually feel like I'm living. And being able to achieve my dreams, will make life more enjoyable than it is now.

I agree that making a major change, such as what you described, often makes a lot of sense. I had to make a change like that, too. That takes a lot of courage to do, and I can feel the positivity in this post that you can do this. Chase your dreams and reach for the sky. I am very proud of you❤️

I spoke with my parents last month, about plans of following my dreams. The only thing I didn't tell them, is that the place I want to apply to is in China. My parents aren't really in agreement with the politics over there and all the news they hear about is something negative, so it's best not to tell them anything, unless I get hired. They think I'll be applying to places in South Korea, as that was the original dream, to live and work in South Korea. At least my parents are encouraging me to follow my dreams. My mum even suggested that I take vacation in Seoul.
When there are too many memories here, it's difficult to see changes. Every thing, person, or place I'm involved with, reminds me of all the traumas I've been through.

Being in the same surroundings that your trauma would naturally be triggering. What field of study will you pursue? Stay safe and keep pressing upward.❤️
I completed a Certificate in 2021, that allows me to Teach English as a Foreign Language, so I will apply for a position in that.
