Wrongly accused.

Hi.

New here.

My name is... Well, that isn't important.

The reason for me reaching out to talk about what often wonders around my brain is that me and my ex wife divorced coming up 5 years a go. It wasn't an easy break up.

Long and short is, my 11 old daughter accused me of sexually assaulting her when she was 4.

It pains me that this has been bought up and that I have been wrongly accused. I had two interviews at the police station and the PC was on my side and said when I asked... "What if she does this again and again and again? Will my ex be bough to justice?" PC said "Sadly not. Although you're innocent, if this happens again we will have to bring you back in... Even though we know this is a lie and there is no evidence. She will not be prosecuted".

I am broken. My daughter who is or was should I say my world has torn my heart apart. And yes! Whilst I understand that her heart was broken when me and her mum divorced, does she not understand the concequence of such an accusation??

Why do I feel so lost without her. My son and my daughter will most likely never want to speak to me again as a result of the brainwashing my my ex and her side of the family.

Anyone who has been in this position and has similar pain. Feel free to reach out. I just thought I would air my concern is all.

Thanks if you read this and listened.

@CASPERSi

I am sorry you are going through this and i feel the blame should be squarely on your EX.

What is her end game? ........ did you move on and she wants to sabotage your life?

what does she think making fake or false accusations will do in the long run.... besides teaching your kids how to lie this could set them up for future issues in case they ever decide to make false claims in future and are caught at it....

This is also very horrible in society every false claim makes real ones harder to be taken seriously .. your EX needs real therapy.

Tbh, I find it confusing that a police officer would use the words "you're innocent". They usually use language like, "there is no evidence that".

@fearlessGlobe222 Agreed. Even without evidence that doesn't necessarily mean someone is innocent.

@CASPERSi

Hello, I'm so sorry that your daughter has accused you of sexual assault when you didn't do it, and obviously her accusation was disproven since there was no evidence. I can tell how much you care about her, and false accusations can be also incredibly devastating to one's livelihood, especially from someone so close to you. I can't imagine the pain you are going through right now.
