A preview for a horror movie that I have never recovered from
I am a cat lover and when I was 12, I was sitting on the couch with my dad and my sister watching TV and we happened to see previews of a horror movie called "Man's Best friend" where the dog goes up a tree after a terrorized orange cat and swallows it whole and alive. I have never recovered from seeing that years later. Everyone I have talked to said the scene were a couple of terrible puppets with a funny scene.

Things like that can definitely be traumatizing for little ones!
@SouthernFlame It especially terrorized me because ginger cats are my favorite and it was such a horrible scene to watch too. What's worse is that there were two kids in the movie that had to watch that happen.

Being fake doesn't help how traumatizing it is to see!
@SouthernFlame He said the same thing when I watched Poltergeists 20 years ago which terrorized the you know what out of me.

scary movies dont seem to be your cup of tea! I dont blame you. I remember watching Carrie as a 7 year old and didnt sleep for a week without night terrors. So believe me when I tell you that movies can be traumatizing indeed and it doesnt matter that its not real.

@SouthernFlame Unlike Man's Best Friend, which has a soft vore scene with the cat, the Shining is very strong

@SouthernFlame there are some horror movies where you expect people and other animals to die because of the type of characters. In Man's Best Friend though, one would expect a dog to kill a cat and tear it apart or rather a cat would run up tree. However, one would not expect a dog to climb a tree and swallow and cat whole and alive like that.
However, I know that it would be impossible for a dog to do any of the things that Max did to poor Boo (Read Wikipedia about the movie- it's basically a Frankenstein type of a movie only about a dog that you evidently feel sorry for.)
In real life:
1. If Max walked onto the limbs- being that he is a Siberian Mastive (sp?) He would break the limbs trying to eat Boo like that because his throat would not be flexible like a snake
2. He would be the one who not only dies fall but choking on Boo who's claws and teeth would destroy his throat and neck and I think in most cases Boo would end up getting away alive badly injured while Max dies
