Should weforgive some one for deeply wronging us? I was only ten when he asked if he could touch me and he said hd let me play on his iPod everyday. I said no, were very poor at the time, almost homeless. My mom didn't talk to us she sat on the couch everyday consumed with her depression as she let the bills pile on. The only she talked she uusually had a belt in her hand as she took her anger on me. She let my sister kick ass eveveryday . I would try to swing as hard as I could but I'd nneverwin. She wol laugh. She was proud shee could beat her little sister. My brother was . I felt rub angst me at night. I would cry becue it made me feel sick. Later my family found out and try called me A lair . I'm 16 now ad uncomfortable around him. But I act like I'm close to him that's wwhy people think I lied. I try to forget what happened but I don't know what to do. I need help. I need advice .

You should forgive... But don't forget. If no one will believe you, there isn't much you can do about that.

talk to someone you can trust someone that believes you and comforts you don't let everything bottle up inside it won't help you and it will make you feel more lost than you already are . No one can tell you what to do they can just point out things they see and you decide what's best for you . I

You seem like an amazing person with potential. I'm sorry to hear about that I truly am. I was in a similar situation with constant people yelling in my ear that I was a total liar. I hated living like that and didn't know what to do. I learn the only thing you can do is have self confidence. Forget everyone else and do it for yourself. Because in the end who is there? You

It's really up to you to decide what you need to do. I would encourage you to talk to someone you can trust to sort things out a little bit to decide what you want to do.

Forgiveness can be very helpful, but it doesn't mean forgetting. It's more of relief for the person who does the forgiving than for anyone.

If you ever need to chat, feel free to message me or another listener who deal with traumatic situations. . Take gentle care of you in the mean time.

My heart goes out to you sweetheart. I had similiar things happen to me and no one believed me and I kept it in for years. The pain and torture it cost me not being able to be free. I ran away from home and took off for a few years getting lost in the world. It wasn't til one day a friend paid for me to go see a therapist. She was tough as nails and the first couple sessions I just bull sh*tted my way through them. Than one day I just couldn't take it anymore and I just opened up. She was patient and there for me and helped me move past it. The freedom it gave me to no longer feel as if I was stuck in the prison cell for life. Talk to someone and it's okay if you don't mesh with that therapist. I've seen dozens before I found her and she changed my life. I'm healing and becoming whole again and at the end of the day you need to realize your worth so much more than what's happening to you. You have so many people you can call or talk to or agencies if need be! Lock your door or find somewhere safer to live. I know it may sound scary or tough but it's better than living in it night after night. You deserve better! Take care of You and stop making excuses for them.

They believe you, they just don't want to.

As for forgiveness, that's tough. I really want to say to forgive him, because he was a child and really screwed up, but I know that's going to be difficult. those memories are never going to go away and to have to look at him and be around him is going to be weird, to say the least. is he in any sort of counseling, or has he faced this issue? because that would make it much easier to forgive, if he accepts what he did and agreesthat it waswrong. however, if he is denying the issue, then forgiveness might not matter.

the person that you really need to forgive is yourself. You have to know that none of this was your fault, and there really was probably nothing you could have done to stop it at the time. If no one wants to admit it happened now they definitely wouldn't have done it back then. honestly, in my opinion, forgiving the other person is over rated. You need to forgive yourself for feeling guilty, you need to forgive yourself for being mad at the other people. They wrongedyou, and especially if they don't admit it, forgiving them will not make you feel any better. You need to forgive yourself for being angry with them and allow yourself to have your feelings. do not let others make you feel bad because you do nothave the perfect family structure. allow yourself to have your feeling, without regrets, remorse, or guilt. That's what's going to make you feel better
