How has it been adjusting to a "normal" life?

Just curious but... how has it been for those of you who have gone through a lot of trauma adjusting to a "normal" life?

I've been through quite a lot and have finally been catching a break. However, I can't help but feel paranoid that something bad will happen again. Moreover, I still catch myself feeling triggered at times.

What do you typically do to cope with the triggers? Thoughts?

@ImpudentIncognito hi cognito ❤ I was brought to the real world a few years ago. I've had to learn and adjust to do much.so yeah I understand it's hard and extremely overwhelming. Also I have that fear too. I've never had the courage to leave the care home grounds, since I came here a few months ago. It's hard very hard. gives you a giant tiny hug ❤

@Tinywhisper11 Thanks for the tiny-giant hug. 💙🩵🤍

I hope things get better for you too. I heard a bit about the things you've gone through, and I'm sorry you had to endure that. I wish you all the best. 🌟

@ImpudentIncognito.  It was a long and hard journey adjusting to the “normal life” for me.  I had to take small steps forward and fell backwards a lot.
