Forgiveness

I cannot forgive myself. I am victim, he a perpetrator but I cannot convince my trauma brain that it was his doing . Why can't I see this? 😔

People who matter to me would never understand. 😔

People like me need to hear " this wasn't you, there's nothing to forgive. I love you the same".

People without this horrible experience cannot understand what a trauma bond is and it's hold on you.

It's crushing me slowly.

I can't keep doing this.

I get where you. It's absolutely soul crushing. Trauma bonds are a very real thing and I have one too. Just know you are not on your own. What you are experiencing right now is very real but please stay strong you are going to get through this ❤️

@amiableBlackberry92 I'm sorry . I feel what you have shared. For me, it is hard to shake because I feel responsible for making poor decisions. I hope you find the peace you seek. You will.

@amiableBlackberry92 I get this as I have the same thing going on right now in my own thoughts and hoping for the best. I wish you luck in your journey as I am working through mine as well.

Thank you all for responding, I have been going through an episode of guilt, flashbacks and shame. Super anxiety over my trauma. It's pretty awful when these episodes have me in a grip I can't shake. It helps when responses let me know so many understand and I'm not alone. 7cups and it's members have been a huge support for me. 🤗

@amiableBlackberry92

I can relate to those feelings as well. I'm still going through the idea of forgiveness. My truma is not the same as yours but, I know the feeling being soul crushing and how it is hard to talk about our pain when it feels like judgement is made when all we want is someone to lean on and feel safe. Not questioned or be reminded of the pain. I'm here for you and I got your back <3
