Hello, I can't help but notice this post as a victim of SA. Here's a bit of my story: I was raped numerous times and essentially treated as a slave for sex for the span of two years. I am comfortable talking about it, although I generally do not go into detail because what happened is genuinely so horrible that simply listening to it can make one's stomach sick.
Because of these experiences though, I have a much better understanding of the emotions and pain of going through SA, the anxiety, the nightmares, the spacing out, the other things that may follow. Based on the way you phrased your post, it sounds like you have gone through SA yourself. I'm a verified listener and new forum supporter for the trauma support forum; feel free to private message me if you would like to talk to me about your experiences, as it sounds like you want someone with a lived experience to talk to. I'm so sorry that you have gone through SA, as it is one of the most painful things that can ever happen to a person, and I hope that you have been able to find people who support you in your daily life. You deserve people who support you and care for you, and I care about your well-being as well. I hope that you have been doing alright since you have made this post.
@PeacePink
I really appreciate that, thank you! I am going to reach out to you right now.
