Scares me too. I feel like once you talk about your issues they become real.. but they are already real and im just avoiding them.. hopefully you can get a peace of mind soon.
Therapy scares me because i have kept all these secrets of my past abuse for my ENTIRE LIFE. I do not know how to use my words to talk about it. And talking about it makes it real - saying it out loud and to another person. And i get triggered and flooded with emotional flashbacks. but i am so dang happy i am doing it because 1. i already survive 2. i never processed anything so i keep it with me and it keeps me from being free, being me and living a life i deserve. therapy may be scary - but it is so so worth it!
It scares me too. I don't think I could trust someone enough to talk to them in person. I feel too exposed just thinking about someone staring at me while I try to tell them whats happened, like they wouldn't believe me or they would think its not a big deal and that I should get over it.

It freaked me out too. But I was so desperate I stuck with it. I had to or I wasn't going to make it. It took me 6 months to tell the therapist my story. I'm lucky she's fantastic and has helped me so very much. It was a tough step for me and I have to say my story is really difficult to tell and even more difficult to hear. ABB💜
