Stranger Things
A friend introduced me to the TV series a few weeks ago.
It's a little crazy because I don't really watch horror type anything. However, I find there are so many messages in each episode that speak to fortitude, the human will, and friendship or community.
If anyone has a view or insight or just want to share if they also watch 'Stranger Things' comment and share.
@hopefulavory Hey, yes me too! I don't watch much of the horror type things. I was thinking about starting last month, did watch a couple of clips too 😄 But I was still in dillemma to watch or not 😂😂 But hey I know some lovely peers who love these series and I am tagging them here💖: @bubblingPresence2474 @Ariias @sunisshiningandsoareyou

Thank you. Season 4 does use the term devil and *** 😕. I have been hesitant to start season 5. Thank you for sharing with others.

@KindleMissie how sweet of you to remember and tag!🤗💖
Hiyaaa @hopefulavory yes it’s a trending series especially now with its 5th and final season releasing hehe.
I don’t find Stranger things part of “horror” genre in the conventional sense of “horror”, but it’s definitely thrilling and a few scenes can be a little too gore depending on people’s tolerance for it.
I personally am not a fan of gore stuff either and find it manageable in this series, plus with the outstanding storyline, the brilliant cast and their acting skills, the sense of nostalgia (of having followed this series since it started a couple of years back) it really is great to watch overall.
The series has multiple themes, and yes like you said, there’s lots of emotion throughout making it a worthwhile watch.
Perhaps check out a few edits online, or the trailers, if you want to assess the level of cinematic tolerance you have for this one. 🤗

@Sunisshiningandsoareyou. I finally got up my nerve and started watching the first season yesterday. So far the first season has been worth it for the reasons you mentioned. I’ve been reading that some of the other seasons had some more violence “but give you time to close your eyes”. Did you find other seasons more gory than the first one? Thanks and happy holidays!
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou
Appreciate your perspective. I have not gotten into season 5 yet. I have watched the 1st and 2nd episode but, I have not binged yet.
The nostalgia of the 80's is over the moon, just love it.
In season 4 I was really drawn into the contrast between where 11 gets her "power" from; compared to where 1 gets his. That particular storyline really resinated with me. Along with the negative vs positive thoughts of the people 1 choose to targets or pursued.
Again much appreciated of your share. 🙏
