New Ideas for the Welcoming committee
Hey Team, I am looking for new ideas to make the Welcoming Committee better all ideas will be considered, You are awesome I am so excited to be moving forward with this!

@calmRose33 Can suggestions be made even if you are not on the welcoming committee? Could we have an update of what kind of activities are already in place, so you don't receive suggestions that are already a part of the committee? I have a suggestion but I'm not sure if it's already being implemented or not.

@KindListening So right now on the welcoming committee we have the monthly challenge going on where the team welcome all new listeners and at the end of the month we count the amount of new listeners each Listener as welcomed and all particaptars get extra cheers
@calmRose33 Where does the welcoming committee welcome new members? Do they personally contact them in an IM? This is part of my suggestion I am going to make. I actually reached out to a few newer members myself to say hi and to directed them to places like the peer support and mentorship page. It was received very warmly and they thanked me for reaching out to them in a personal way.
@KindListening Sorry, I mean members as in listeners! I don't want to confuse anyone 
@KindListening so we go looking for new listeners in the forums/ chats rooms/ on the main page where it says annoucements in the menu everyway across 7 cups really but we send them resources to help them get started here at 7 cups thats fantastic work :) and we are so happy to have some new idea's I personally believe that we are in need of improvement in all area's of the welcoming committee i want to make it more exciting and more engaging :)
I know when I first joined I really apprecaited chatting about interests in the group chats, and finding people I could share interests with, perhaps some ways people can discuss their hobbies, interests, and passions? :)
