Hiya all my fellow lovely listeners, this is my welcoming message, ermm hope it's not too long, I got kinda carried away..

Hello ❤NAME OF PERSON WHO I?M WELCOMING ❤, and welcome to 7 Cups! We?re so glad to have you on the listener?s team with us. My name is Rabea though you can call me Bear if you like, that?s my nickname around here :) and I?ve been a Listener here since January! Perhaps you could tell me a little bit about yourself? What made you want to become a Listener?❤

I can tell you this, starting out a listener on 7cups can be daunting in the beginning, and sometimes really overwhelming, you may go through hard chats or may find some chats potentially triggering etc.. but as well as connecting toamentor,it can be really helpful to make links with other listeners, especially new ones, there is a buddy system in place, you could check out that! Forum threads can be really helpful, feel free to dig into those when you need help with anything. We also have guided discussions in the week to help you out with your active listening! So stick around in the forums for those! Also, you can always go to the Listeners Room where you can chat with some of our experienced listeners. Oh! Plus, if you?re ever feeling overwhelmed with a chat, feel free to message one of our lovely Peer Supporters which you can usually find lurking in the Listeners Room they can help you feel much better after you?ve had a hard chat with a member/guest. If you ever need support with a chat message one of our lovely Teen Star, Moderators or Mentors and if you see none of those available or online at the time you need them, you can message the next available Peer Supporter soo?if you have any questions feel free to message me or any other of our experienced listeners, we?ll always be there for you and have your back!

Oh and I?m also a Peer Supporter so if you ever have a hard chat, you know where to come, though if you message me and I?m not online, feel free to jump into the Listeners Room and give someone else a shout! ❤
