What we learnt from our very first Welcome Team Discussion

Today we held our first ever Welcoming Committee Discussions on the Adult and Teen side. We hope to run more discussions in the future – keep an eye out for announcements!

So what does a great welcoming message look like? Here are 3 steps to follow when creating your welcoming message!

Step 1. Introduce Yourself

Hey XXX my name is XXX ...Tell them about yourself.... I can see you have joined 7 Cups today thats amazing we are so glad you are here. Its a huge step becoming a listener but you've done it which is incredible! How are you finding it so far? I am sure that when you settle into your role you will absolutely love it too. What made you sign up to become a listener?

Step 2. Provide Useful Resources

Step 3. Let them know that they can return to ask you questions if they get stuck.
