Alone
I am so lonely. I look around a see really horrible people loved and cared for. Yet I am all alone. I often think if really bad people can have friends and be loved, what does that say about me? I can't even get therapists to care. I had one but he was God awful and was just going through the motions until i stopped seeing him. I signed up for treatment in 2018 but have never received any services. I don't think they liked me. Iwould love just to be able to talk to someone. Doesn't have to be anything earth shattering, just some friendly chit chat. Just some kind of connection with someone. But I am afraid my flaws run so deep it would be impossible.

You are not alone but you are choosing the wrong people

I feel the same way. I've always been alone. I'm married but it's a loveless marriage, and I'm still very lonely. I feel like I repel people. I'm not sure why. I try to meet people and chat with them but I don't feel a connection with most people. When I was younger I was always very quiet and afraid to talk to people. I got past that in my 40s. Now I can usually talk to anyone but I don't feel like anyone wants to be friends. It gets harder to meet people as I get older. I'm here if you want to connect and have a chat friend.

Same.
No family left, no friends.
I do have a wonderful pup.

@PartyofNo1always "I’m really sorry to hear you’re feeling this way, and I want you to know you’re not alone. It’s so hard to feel isolated, especially when it seems like others have the connections you want. Please don’t think your worth is tied to how others treat you—sometimes life feels unfair like that, but it doesn’t mean you’re any less deserving of care and love.
I admire your courage for opening up; that takes so much strength. If you’d like, I’m here to listen or chat about whatever’s on your mind. Sometimes, even small conversations can make things feel a little lighter. You deserve to be heard and valued, just as you are."*
@PartyofNo1always you can talk to me whenever you feel like
Hi I’m sorry you’re having a hard time. I did see you menchion about therapists not caring. Honestly, they generally don’t but not because they don’t want to, but because they’re trained not to. It more of a business relationship, you’re paying them to help step you through your problems. If they were your friend they’d be emotionally invested in you and give you advice which may or may not help you out of compassion. So while they’ll extended social pleasantries, I wouldn’t expect more than that. Best!
No cause they're abusive use po2er suthority prey on vulnetable people poqer abd control coercive conrol emotional abusr
@PartyofNo1always I understand this feeling entirely. I've felt the same way most of my life.
