I don't know why, but sometimes I laugh at my own struggles. Physical pain, emotional and psychological pain... I would never ever laugh at someone else like this though! These things are not funny.

I would like to understand why I do it. I guess I just find it absurd sometimes. Like... if there is a God, my are they creative! It feels like a cruel puzzle, just ridiculous.

I'm so thankful I'm in a better spot now. But laughing through the pain helped me cope.

@cyanessence me too. I don't think laughing at oneself is a way of self humiliation . In fact it's the opposite. It's to make light of the situation. Not to take yourself too seriously. For me it's a way of showing forgiveness to all the harsh things I think ... laughter at self just keeps me more humble..

@BlatantHonesty So true, I would say it's more about seeing their true-self. Not betraying themselves.
