This is wonderful advice! Don't choose to do something just because it is comfortable and easy! All things worth it don't come easy! Effort is necessary and important in the growth of the mind! Be okay with making mistakes, do what brings you joy!
I am choosing to pursue a career in the psych field, though I know it will be very hard and lengthy, it is what brings me joy! The knowledge of the mind and ability to help others is so valuable!
