I stay happy by praying and keeping myself busy with meaningful things. To be honest I'm just being to learn how to stay happy. I'm so used to basing my happiness off of monetary, and temporary things. Such as socializing with my friends, going out, buying clothes, and flirting with guys. Now I'm learning to base my happiness on constant things in my life. For instance God and Me. If I learn to but my complete trust and love into God as well as loving myself through him I will learn to stay happy no matter what. Sometime feeling unhappy is but a temporary fleeting Human feeling.
It’s not about staying happy, it’s about recognizing that happiness is a state that ebbs and flows, and being open to the opportunities however small for enjoyment, pleasure and contentment. Humans are hardwired to adapt: this means that the initial thrill of a happy event subsides to contentment and then sometimes to discontent, so practicing non attachment, appreciation and gratitude for what we have or what comes to us, is really important for maintaining awareness of and access to happiness.
also my therapist has me doing behavioural activation to trigger happy feelings through attentively choosing activities that feel good and fulfilling more often.
Make time for things I love and people I love. No matter what. It really does help.
For myself I can't. I just have highs and lows and it's usually just unpredictable.
Just be yourself and live the moment that's happening right now. That's it 😊
And if i get bored i start traveling
@emotionalLunch7969 I work seasonally at a local haunted attraction. That is the one place where I feel safe enough to feel completely, totally happy.
