Hello
New here! 👋 One month and one day sober! 🎉🥳
I’m not really looking for anything specific here—just a place where I can come, meet people, hear your stories, see what everyone else is up to, and hopefully steal a few good ideas on how to survive this crazy ride I’ve signed myself up for. 😂
I’m not going to lie…this has been HARD. Like, REALLY hard. 😅 Sobriety is definitely not the magical “I stopped drinking and suddenly everything is wonderful” experience I was hoping for. 😂 There have been stressful days, emotional days, frustrating days, and plenty of moments where my brain has apparently decided to hold a full-blown argument with me about why this was such a good idea. 🤦♀️🤣
But here I am—31 days sober. One day at a time, because apparently trying to think about doing this forever is enough to make my brain run for the hills. 😂
I’m learning, growing, messing up, figuring things out, and trying to become a better version of myself along the way. I know I still have a LONG road ahead of me, but for the first time in a long time, I’m actually walking it sober.
So if you see me around, say hi! I’m here to listen, learn, laugh when I can, and hopefully remind myself that I’m not the only person who sometimes looks at sobriety and thinks, “Okay…whose bright idea was THIS?” 😂
One day at a time. ❤️

@diligentLake2498 If I could, I would heart ❤️ your post x100! I am soooo proud of you!!!! 31 days sober! Gooooo yyyooouuuu! Look 👀 at you! I absolutely enjoyed reading your post. I can't imagine the struggles you encounter along the way, but you're doing it. Like you said-- one day at a time. Continue to keep on being that best version of yourself. It's working with your progress thus far! There's nothing you can't overcome or get through. I'm rooting for you big time! 👏 👏 👏
Hey, just wanted to say, absolutely massive congratulations on 31 days sober!
I know it can get real difficult. But as long as we can communicate with people that care about us, we can get through anything. I have had to deal with getting clean of several addictions, so I know it can get really hard in certain moments.
Just remember, you are doing this to better your life. It won't always be roses, but being better than who you were yesterday, 1 step at a time, 1 day at a time, truly is worth it in every sense.
If you ever need someone to just chat with that might be able to empathize or just listen, feel free to message me. I won't ever judge and hopefully be a friend in need if I can.
Keep on, keeping on friend. Stay safe, and I wish you well in spirits and health!
Huge congratulations on 31 days! 🎉 It takes a lot of honesty and courage to share this. Taking it one day at a time is definitely the way to go. Keep pushing forward, you’re doing great!

YAAAASSSSSSSS CONGRATS!!!!!!
I love them way sobriety looks on happy people! It's DAMN HARD! Those first 24 hours, let alone THIRTY DAYS! I remember. Those are the days right after you've ripped all of your bandages off your wounds and they are still fresh. Your sheer will, determination, and love for yourself is what's getting you through it all now my friend, and look at you doing it. 💙 I'm very proud of you. One day at a time.
Message me if you ever need sobriety fellowship!
