hmm… I am not a very experienced listener. However, as a member there’s something that I generally prefer. Rather than just pitying and sympathizing with the member, rather try to understand and empathize the member. They will feel much better if you understand how they feel. All the best! ☺️💕

A couple of suggestions to you would be to perhaps check out this forum and consider joining the community 🥰 https://www.7cups.com/forum/listenerjourney/ It is designed for listeners new and old to ask questions and to read about being a listener
Another suggestion I have for you, is to look under the 'training' tab on your profile as there is a lot of useful information there too!
My final suggestion is to pop into the listener support room, you can ask questions and get support there too.
