Me and the World
Today I looked at myself.
I tried to not become too Negative.
I tried not to beat myself up for the past.
I tried not to blame myself for everything.
I tried to forget my haters.
The truth is.....
I'm sick of everything.
Im sick of suffering.
I'm sick of life really.
Sometimes it feels like the whole world has turned upside down.
Some people say....
that when life takes you down,
you have to get back up.
but its hard to get back up
when everyone keeps pushing you down.
its hard.
sometimes i scream and cry
sometimes i try not to panic.
but it just happens.
I don't feel wanted or loved.
everything goes wrong.
But at the end of the day
I am me
I gotta be proud of myself for coming this far.
I gotta learn to love myself and move on
And im not giving up.
So.. you.... yes, you... Im talking to you..
never give up.
Life is beautiful.
you can get through this.
You can do this.
Go my friends......
you can face the world just like i am.
Face your fears.
Face them.
Your amazing!

I love that this poem is actually a journey that begins and ends with you. It goes through exposition and conflict, and then ends in a beautiful resolution.
This is a testament to expressing our thoughts and feelings in a concrete way and how we can find our own healing in it! Well done! I'm getting so inspired by this cuz I love writing short stories but hate Journaling and only tried it a couple of times.
