Poem- Hug me tight

Hello there,

I am back with another poem. This is a poem about an experience I had in the past. I was having a panic attack and this girl came up to me. And she changed my life.

I stood there.

Life isn't fair.

It hurts.

And we go through...

failure

success

hardships

i was on a breaking point

I closed my ears.

Closed my eyes.

My mind was telling me too much lies.

I could hear screaming in my head.

I just wanted to shut myself down and go to bed.

I sat on the hard ground outside the classroom.

Waiting.

my world was collapsing.

Everything was happening just too quick.

I felt sick.

My eyes filled with tears.

I have too many fears.

I cried.

Everyone had lied.

Nothing was going to get better.

But then....

my life changed.

A girl came to me.

Kneeled down.

She wiped my tears.

I forgot all my fears.

All my stress.

And she said:

"hey you, you are amazing. okay? you can get through this. you are loved and cared about"

She hugged me.

Held me tight.

It was like i could finally see light.

And maybe people did care about me.

Maybe this world wasn't so cruel.

I was just a fool.

When we are in our darkest of times, we want to give up and we shut down and panic.

Just remember,

your loved.

you are cared about.

your a wonderful human being.

and i care.

we care.

many people out there care.
