Quick 7 Cups App Overview for Members

Hi, everyone! I am answering some common questions to help folks navigate the member interface.

What is this first icon?

This is the Home tab. This is where you see curated feed activity (i.e. posts you may be interested in/content you may want to see), and quick buttons to the main features of the platform: Therapy signup, Chat (1:1s and chatrooms), and Community (forums).

How do I talk to a listener?

The button sits next to the Home button, the speech bubbles, have the following:

• Your 1:1 chatlist. All chats you start go here. 
• Start new chat = This is how you can enter the General Request Queue/Chat live queue to connect with the first available listener. You can also sign up for Therapy here.
• Find listener = This goes to Browse Listeners, our directory of listeners to PM. You can filter by language/availability/support category etc.
• Groups = Our chatrooms. Click it and you’ll see the group support rooms available to you.

Where are the forums?

The middle tab contains all of our forums.

Where are the Growth Paths and Mindfulness activities library?

The next tab over (the 4th) ⛅️

What’s the bell icon?

This is where you’ll see all of our alerts for events, notifications of hearts (likes)/responses (known as tags or Mentions) to you in the forums, and badges earned.

Note: The app has limited features in terms of links/accessible resources, so I recommend switching to the site version frequently to make full use of everything 7 Cups offers.
