I feel the most misunderstood when.... [finish this sentence]
When people stare at me after a statment or a joke. And their face looks like a was speaking jibberish. And when it's a joke I am the only one hysterically laughing by myself.
Why dont people understand the words that are coming out of my mouth. I speak english my whole life Im pretty sure its very clear what I am saying...
Someone thinks they can tell me how I should feel, instead of letting me tell them how I do feel.
I feel most misunderstood when I am cut off and told advice before I have even finished talking about my feelings :c
I feel most misunderstood when people think I'm arguing when I'm just putting up a debate or discussion. Like just now, I was speaking about languages but people thought I was putting up an argument against English. I'm venting this all now.
When I am in pain but it doesn't show. My inner self collapses but it seems no one can imagine remotely what I am going through
I feel the most misunderstood when I'm in a downswing with my Bipolar Disorder. I feel like no one understands how I feel, and that no one cares. I end up saying a lot of things I don't really mean, and it hurts the people I care about. I just wish they would understand that I don't mean it and I can't help it.
@kaelhawh
Yes mood and a feeling of being in control are synergistic. When I'm down I am afraid to do anything because everything I do seems wrong.
I once read read that one way to deal with torture is to try to slow time down until you dissociate between your self and your body. There seems to be a paradox with this method, since eventually mind and body must reintegrate. Hope is the faith that this will happen, a big part of my anxiety is my belief that this time it won't happen, that I will feel like this forever.
I feel the most misunderstood when i try explaining my stand and yet he thought tat i m the initiator tat caused his failure
I feel most misunderstood when I try to communicate my feelings and someone assumes that I have an ulterior motive for saying something. My motive is to talk about how I'm feeling and be self-aware of my changes in emotion. I'm not wanting people to feel sorry for me or treat me differently. I don't like that we live in a world where we can't just say how we feel, or acknowledge it.
When I anticipate what others are thinking or feeling. I love the times when I connect, and these connections always come as surprises. I have a friend who points at his nose when we agree, but more importantly are the times when he says no that's not it. I feel most misunderstood when someone assumes what I am saying, and then argues with me that what they heard is what I meant, because I didn't REALLY understand what I was saying. At this point we are both confused because we can't see a path to compromise. When there are multiple people conversing the problem becomes even more confusing, since ostensible truth is made smaller by each new point of view.
I feel most misunderstood when I seem like I am not a caring person. My friends often state that I don't care about them. However, I do care but I am just going through a lot and I can't just put my problems aside all of a sudden and simultaneously give advices to my friends. Even If I wanted to my anxiety prevents me.
@Gulugulu.. This is exactly how I feel. It's like you're always there for someone but when you aren't due to stuff going on in your own life you're now the "terrible friend."
