I feel the most misunderstood when.... [finish this sentence]
I feel most understood when I'm going through an anxiety attack or a deep depression. I feel like I'm the only one that knows what's going on and I get fustrated when people don't understand what's going on in my head. It's like the world is spinning 100x faster and I can never get in under control..it's like I'm alone, I'm not actually alone.. But it's how I feel. And when I try to explain it to someone, it's just too exhausting because they don't understand.
... people misgendered me.
I feel the most misunderstood when my parents say that I shouldn't be stressed out because im only a teen and I shouldn't have any problems at my age and have nothing to worry about other than school.
I can't explain in detail what's wrong. There is just too much "world" out there.
I feel the most misunderstood when people don't comprehend the reasoning behind my behavior.
Feel the most understood at this moment just about, when I came on a site deignated to HELP folks in distress and instead encountered some snotty women (reminiscent of my childhood bullies) who had all kinds of snide inside comments and rude things to say. I am very much a real person with real feelings, and to encounter bullies on a forum such as this shocked me. I have no idea where to turn and it's sad. Excuse my spelling errors I am upset. Btw this occurred in the 35 and over forum, which makes it even odder -- are people still jerks at that age?
I feel most misunderstood when people say "Everyone gets sad, just pray to God and he'll take it for you." Yes I realize that I am not alone when it comes to emotions and rough times, but please don't invalidate what my journey and struggles are. If you can give it to God and carry on then I support that, but please don't assume that praying is going to be a instant easy fix for me. It's not.
I feel the most misunderstood when trying to express how much I love my ex boyfriend and how much he's been hurting me with how he's been lately :/
I feel most misunderstood when I have to explain to people what multiple personality disorder is and why I might've been different from the first time that I met them. I also feel misunderstood when ask why I don't talk much. I have severe social anxiety. There's really no other way to explain it, but most people just don't get it or understand it.
@Splash2317 I understand completely. Maybe not in the same way but very similar and if you ever need a friend you can confide in me.
When I want to make something different and the people I know say is not the right thing for me...
