I feel misunderstood when I'm trying to explain my feelings to someone and they say "you're making this all about you."

omg! I get told the same thing, it's when your just trying your best to explain yourself and someone hits you with those words..
we have a right to speak our minds don't give in to the patronizing
@rainprince HUH!!!! i know just what u mean cos u expressing yourself, and probably in need of a vent or offload with maybe family or friends, they go and say, u make it all albout u, well duh!! it is aboute me im trying to explain my problems to you and all u can do is selfishly come out with that incosiderate and rude remark!!

When people act like you are exaggerating how depressed or anxious you are,just because they don't know how it feels.
people dont support me and say i dont have deppression, i just always need to be the center of attention.
then wen i come here they say it dosent support me that it just helps make me a better actor at being deppresed.
i've got these thoughts rushing around in my head when i'm depressed and nobody understands how bad they really are
I feel misunderstood when people don't understand social anxiety. Someone today said "when you meet the right person it will go away." Umm nope. That's not how it works.
When I'm asked to explain something again, when I have already broken it down to the lowest level of understanding. It makes me feel unheard and unimportant, like what I've said isn't a level of priority
