I feel misunderstood when I'm trying to explain my feelings to someone and they say "you're making this all about you."

When people act like you are exaggerating how depressed or anxious you are, just because they don't know how it feels.

people dont support me and say i dont have deppression, i just always need to be the center of attention.

then wen i come here they say it dosent support me that it just helps make me a better actor at being deppresed.

I feel misunderstood when people don't understand social anxiety. Someone today said "when you meet the right person it will go away." Umm nope. That's not how it works.

When I'm asked to explain something again, when I have already broken it down to the lowest level of understanding. It makes me feel unheard and unimportant, like what I've said isn't a level of priority

I feel the most misunderstood when my parents or friends tell me what they think will 'cure' or 'fix' my mental illness, often remedies that make me feel worse.
