I feel the most misunderstood when.... [finish this sentence]
When I do things and say things to try and protect other people who I care about but they do nothing and just ignore me. They seem as if they don't care.
I feel the most miss understood when people go 'oh I feel like that all the time' or go 'you just need to exercise more, do you yoga, do this do that'
when I try to say what's on my mind and in my heart, I can never express properly to anyone how I feel. it comes across as blame, jealousy anger and frustration.
so I just keep quiet. and cry. it's the only way to let go of the pain of everyone not knowing how I feel.
I feel most misunderstood when I am trying to communicate how I'm feeling after holding it in for too long and trying to handle it all on my own, but people just get upset or don't know how to handle it, so they get angry at me and I feel like I've only made everything worse.
When I am voicing my opinion and I am being heard and not listened to...
I feel most misunderstood when I'm in situations where I feel anxious. It's extremely hard to explain to someone what anxiety feels like as a disorder if they don't already understand. When people ask questions like "why are you anxious" and advice simply stating "calm down" are the moments I feel most helpless.
I get over attached and then heartbroken and I can't help but feel sad
I feel most misunderstood when I talk about how I feel and I just get told to breathe and observe. Some days I don't have the strength to and i just want a hug and someone to comfort me.
@amiableOwl8703 I feel very similar. It makes me feel stuck to be trying to explain myself only to be told to stop and deal with it differently.
@PlainJane17 yes. I get told to meditate and breathe. I'm uncomfortable with some thoughts that hit my head I just need a outlet and some love! Yes, meditation and observing is good but at times it's not what I need. I need soothing and reassurance But I get told not to expect.
Whenever my family and friends dont understand what im going through.
Somebody doesn't listens completely and reacts.
