I'm in love with a married man. we began as friends. I was trying to help him get back to his wife. I have forced him to go be with her and go back home to his kids. He came back crying saying that he tried to fix it with her but every time he looks at her he says he sees me! He has told me many times that he told her about us. I tried to stay away, I begged him to leave. He said that he is separated from his wife and wants nothing to do with her only the kids. She got cancer in her spine last year and had it removed. Before her cancer he was with me everyday. She had even asked to meet me. Which he refused. Now it's 3 years we are together, I have not met his kids. This hurts me. This past month I hardly ever see him anymore. It's breaking my heart. I feel used and abused. When I asked him what happened he said that he's scared to loose his kids. That his wife (who he said he and she got a divorce with through the religious beliefs) cries every day saying that she's afraid that her cancer is back and she's depressed. I don't believe him! I think that he's living a double life and she finally found out that he cheated on her that's why she's crying. I think that she told him that if he still wants to see his kids then he must be home by 7pm. I think that he's lying to me and that he is going back to his wife and doesn't want to hurt me. I let my guard down and stupidity stepped in and I am hurting so much for falling for a man who will never leave his wife!

Advice : if there's not a legal custody for the kids there should be one. So you'll know he's there for the kids not her. And also I get it they were married and shared a life and she does get emotional about the cancer and evrything falling apart. But with understanding him and the former wife. Also your words need to be heard and rules need to be laid out if he's dedicated to you now. Or else let them be together again. Ain't nothing wrong with that either. It's all about finding your place in the world. Just make sure you learn from your mistakes.

I love my daughter to pieces, but I have found myself wondering more and more if she'd just be better off without me.

@courageousPal5424

Never wonder. Because you'll regret the "what ifs" life's too short to not be with your family. Create that bond again. And just make sure you tell her that you are there to listen whenever she needs you. And it's her turn to respond .

That I identify as androgynous/asexual and know family/friends will never accept it. Really not looking forward to another year of 'girly' gifts for holidays, they don't realise how much it hurts no matter how sensitively try to approach subject

I can't explain to people that the death of one of my good friends broke my heart but the death of my dog has shattered me. :(

@PupsHelpHeal56

I have lots my pups. It's heartbreaking. I've cried when it happened but now time has passed I've learned to cope. It's sad but life goes on. And probably because dogs are better than ppl I always say. They are cute , they are always happy to see you and you can fun, and they always understand you and they love you no matter what. Humans are different obviously more complex but the real difference is dogs have a shorter life time so they give you all their love quicker than humans. And it hurts because you wished they would've lived longer. But yes all love should be equal but as a dog lover I understand. But have equal sympathy for both losses.

@PupsHelpHeal56 reading your comment brought tears to my eyes. My dogs are my everything. I understand how amazing a relationship with a dog can be and it would break me apart far more than one of my friends dying. So don't feel too bad it's perfectly resonable for u to feel the way u do and your not alone. Stay safe❤

@Disputeanoceann thank you. I think because it was just so sudden and there was no reason is why it's hitting me so hard. Plus she was only 4 so she was still so young. My dogs are my everything. I haven't been able to have children so they are my kids and I just can't let go.

Ik exactly what I'm gonna do when it happens too. Anyways, I what I think wpuld help me of o were u is dedicate something to them. Something that will give me that extra push.

I often think of self harm as my only escape. This is something I'm embarrassed to admit in person.

@Memi

Don't be afraid to share it also helps to share. But if you are thinking if self harm please don't. Know that you are worth it. And there's so much things out there that are amazing. There's a better way to deal with stress or self harm. Might not be easy but please take that positive route. Exercise, write, draw, scribble whatever you can to feel some kinda of relief. Go outside smell the air. Go for a walk. It makes you feel alive than ever. I know everyone has felt like that's are only choice that evrything would just disappear. But it's not. God gives the stronger people challenges and barriers because he knows they can over achieve anything be expendable. I hope this helps. I'm not that religious but there alot of people / strangers that care for your well being.

They can't judge you. If they really love you the will accept you for who you are. Maybe time might turn their heads around and have to accept it. But right now you do you. Be happy.

@kokosdraws Yes, it will get better. No matter how hard it may seem right now, it will get better. Plus, you have your whole life ahead of you!! And don't listen to what other people say. If they call you ugly, don't let that bring you down. You have a lot worth living for. You're amazing just the way you are, so don't pretend like you are someone you're not.

@kokosdraws sucks that your family died. food for thought I was bullied pretty bad especially grade and middle school. Now I am a seasoned expert in several crafts that some would die for. People come to me for my professional advice. I make more money than many of the people that made life so hard, have nicer stuff, and have the most devoted spouse. I see all those mean people for what they are now. Weak. You can be a victim or a master of your destiny. Its not just a choice. Its a mindset that you keep everyday. Nothing changes overnight or without your effort. Good luck.
