Breathe and distract myself, whether it be watching videos, reading, busting myself with chores, etc.. I also try to prove myself wrong about whatever I'm not calm about- try to disprove my worry and debunk it if the above doesn't work.
I love to read which clams me down and also music,I also find dinking a cup of tea to help calm me down and I meditate
Use essential oils
One thing i do to stay calm is listen to music. usually its either my favourite artist, happy songs or songs i relate to.
Delay; Defer; Distract~! those are the Anxiety Management reminders that work the best for me,, and they can be adapted to any situation~! i do like to play solitairre or come chatting, i find both of those very engaging,,, but sometimes i just go lay down and start a daydream of being someone else somewhere else, and suddenly i find i have no problems at all, that i can't fix~ O.O
@GustyOne4U
I can totally relate...
I just try to breathe and take somentime away from whatever is causing me distress. I would also watch some youtube videos because often times there's always something to watch that will work as a distraction
I tend to take whatever situation it was and sort of warp it into a story or song inspired by the experience. It definitely feels really rewarding when you see what you've created from a tough situation! If it's too intense though, I either game or write in my journal....completely uncensored....
I listen to music to feel calm, preferably Linkin Park ⚡
