I firmly believe everybody gets a happy end if they have hope and are willing to take some action themself.
...that we all die eventually.
@BlackSun81
But death is not the end of life.
We all will live in another world after death
& there, we will see the consequences of our behaves...
@ziba27 That's great and all if it brings you some kind of comfort, but in my view, that kind of belief cheapens life. This world is more than some test, more than a stopping point along the way to something better. If this is truly all there is, then this is all that matters. Not only do we have every rational reason to believe that life ends at death, but it so happens that accepting the finitude of conscious existence makes the imperative to safeguard it that much more salient. With no gods to please, and no heaven to reach, we can achieve clarity of what's actually important in *this* world: the quality of the human experience. I too want to believe in justice. But the universe is naturally indifferent to man's ideals; it's up to us to make it a just place. Remember: The separation between Man and Nature is non-existent. We ARE the universe, and we're crafting the course of our own reckoning every hour of every day, sculpting our Hell and Heaven right here on Earth.
I believe that happiness can exist for everyone... that happiness is a thought we can create with good practice. This gives me hope every day.
I firmly believe the only people that are truly happy in this world are the one's that never let go of their hearts, no matter how hard or painful life was.
People that put money, power, whatever, over connecting with others are any doing so as a substitute, trying to fill the void that hardening themselves to the world has created.
That everyone is capable of being kind and understanding. They just need to work on that side of themselves to achieve it.
We are the makers of our own journeys. The choices that we make either consciously or not, directly influence the quality of life that we experience. That said, sometimes we need help making or changing the way we make said decisions, but need to be honest and gain the courage to ask.
