One thing I firmly believe is that romantic relationships arent more important than platonic friendships. Yes, romantic relationships are important, but they dont replace your friends, and shouldnt. You can balance it out, even if it takes practice and isnt always perfect. But romantic partners are NOT more important than your friends; they are equal. Romantic love isnt automatically more important than platonic love. Also dont tell you friends that well, OBVIOUSLY my partner is more important bc theyre my partner because youll make them feel awful and insecure and its just flat out rude.
