One thing I have never told anyone is....[finish this sentence}
Just... blurt it out! Don't be nervous! Make your secrets not so secret....
I act like I'm okay and this strong confident guy, to hide the fact that I am dying inside
@passionateDrum5626 same, it's so hard....
I live in fear that something is going to finally break me and I won't make it to tomorrow
Sometimes my dad makes me feel useless
That I feel like I don't belong and I have no friends and nothing good to come home to.
That I might be asexual and have been like this all my life. Reading about it, it makes so much sense to me - even back to when I was a teenager! - although I only realized a few months ago that something like this existed. I would even be completely happy with it, if I wasn't married to a sexually active partner. Throughout my whole relationship (which is now 10+ years) I have tried to be "normal" and to provide a sexual relationship and it hasn't worked out.
My partner always listens to me if I have concerns but when I tried to adress this he completely freaked and told me it's just a phase with my depressed self and that we wouldn't touch this topic ever again.
I've never told anyone that I am bisexual...
My friends and family think I am tough and down to earth but the truth is that is the mask I put on to hide how I really am. I don't have anyone in my life close enough to see how I really am or care much about me.
I want to be there for my little brother and be a better sister but I always blow it up.
@aspiringprocrastinator I am a younger brother to an older brother and sister. I found out that sharing something in common brings us together. For example, we all like this one video game and we all play it together, and we all love our family dog.
I just made a post to this thread, but I wanted to make another. I often imagine how life would be without me being a burden on the people I know and I think their lives would be better without me. Committing suicide scares me but I still frequently wonder when I am walking down the road, what if I run into this car? I could end it all right here right now and life might be better for people I know. I also have depression and social anxiety, I don't find things fun that I used to find fun recently. When I'm with my friends I feel like the worst out of them all. I have a whole slew of problems but I'm WAY too scared to tell my dad (my mom is dead which probably caused this all) about this: he is the tough kind of man who doesn't talk about feelings much. What should I do?
@Xg28tncx don't be scared to talk to your dad. Even if he's tough he still cares about you and wants you to be happy. Also, don't think of yourself as the worst out of all your friends. You-- and everyone else in the world-- have beautiful burdens, scars, and flaws that make you who you are. In sure you're a lovely person, embrace yourself and surround yourself with people who are worthy of your presence
Hang in there lovely
@Xg28tncx alot of what you have down here is similar to me, except my mother is fine but I'm sorry for your loss, anyone know how to help? Also is this something that might warrant getting therapy? I don't want to do anything for myself though.... sitting in silence or suicide seem to be the easiest ways to make do but I think about how much my death would cost my family and I have relatives that have attempted before I don't want to push over the edge and so many other things on my mind :'(
everything I've ever lied about!!!
