I grew up in the most traumatic kind of environment and it turned me into a complete mess. I don't even know how to function properly without medication and meditation and music.

@RiggsMortis it's ok to use those things as coping strategies, only coping with them does not make you weak, it is making you stronger

It's always in the back of my mind. The thought that people are treating me differently because I'm black or that the reason I can't find a mature man is because guys only see me as a sex object... That I will always be alone because of this.... And sometimes it makes me not want to continue on

@Keewee0701 I can totally relate. I tried writing the thoughts down on paper in one column and then in the next, I would respond to it, as if mt friend said those stuff to me. After reading it, I felt a bit better and the more I did it the better it gets. Just a thought. I currently have myself less.

I've never told anyone that I still cry about my childhood love. The love of my life that I met when I was in 1st grade. I cry about him because I have never felt the same about anyone else. I have forgotten how to love and just dwell on the past. It's been 5-6 years since I last talked to him. We both moved schools, and I moved to the other side of the country. It's not that I can't get over him it's that I don't understand what it's like to love anyone anymore, it hurts watching everyone fall in love so easily while I'm here just sitting and watching as my friends find their relationships. I feel left out, not understanding what it feels like to love anyone for 5-6 years. I have changed during the period of time of not loving anyone because of unfortunate events that have happened, my view on life seems pointless. I cry about him because I want to love again, I want to be loved again. I have never talked about this to anyone in my life.

I want to be left alone. I don't want any friends. I don't want a family. I want to be alone.

Sometimes, I feel less than because I am a black woman. That I'm not as pretty because of that or that a non-black guy won't want to introduce me to his family because of that :(

I'm healing in very tiny super tiny steps. For my friends and family it could be nothing but for me right now is about going through so many small things in order to make it through the day and that's what matters that I see it and I feel. I understand that this will take the time it takes me to heal. I'm ok if others don't understand what I'm going through. That doesn't make me a lonely person it makes me more compassionate with myself and my pain and my struggles. I'm ready to make another day happen in the best way I can so far. I now that I will get through this. I'm a strong human being that is just going through a rough moment but the failures and pain doesn't define me. It defines me right now the way I'm making myself stronger of this. The way I'm letting myself time to heal and to feel to get through it.

I hate it when people try to connect with me because of my age, race, gender, religion, etc.
I feel that I am much for than my superficial realities, so I don't appreciate it when someone think that they can know everything about me at first glance.

@KnittedPenguin25 I know how you feel 😟. I hate when people awesome summer I'm Christian because I'm black. Or assume they know who I am and what I like because I'm black.
