Something 2016 taught me is.........
2016 taught me that I feel more at home at university.
2016 has taught me that it's okay to seek help.
2016 taught me that loved ones won't always be around and to love them as much as you can. You don't know how much time you have left with them.
2016 taught me many lessons but the most important of them was of trust. I learnt that you should never trust people too much because a person can change in a fraction of a moment and even if it feels like people are always with you at the end of the day it'll always be just you.
It taught me that life is Hard indeed it is, and it's okay to be not okay, but the most important thing is just trust in Jesus whatever happens for there is an unending amazing power of love which gushes forth, I have been stupid not to come to Jesus trust me my 1.5 year of depression severe depression with nearly everyday suicidal tendencies gone away within 1 second. Yes I'm not joking. I'm not lying. I prayed for 30 secs from my Heart.
I said JESUS if you're there help me otherwise I'll go down to the bottom of the pit.
I said it when my docs have failed me they gave up on me said I'm beyond their ability to heal.
That 30 secs heart to heart prayer and that trust in Jesus made me get out depression.
No not in 1 sec it went out but it gave me the strength to go to the next milestone and held my hand till now. Hallelujah
Let this 2017 be the year of proclamation and be your redemption.
I believe you. I love you.
And I will pray for you.
I know that you will trust Him and also allow Him to heal you up. Hallelujah
Amen
God bless.
Hugs
Sam
Loving myself through the changes - physical and otherwise;
acknowledging everyone and everything that has been a part of the journey called life;
expressing gratitude,
not taking things or people for granted;
importance of humour and the ability to laugh at oneself ;
taking deliberate steps towards developing qualities I like;
find and appreciate the good in everything, however bleak it may seem at the surface;
belief in myself and my potential,
working towards what I believe in, however slowly or fast.
showing TLC to mind and body.

2016 taught me that nothing is really constant you gotta adapt to changes even if you dont like them and even if they are your failures , you gotta learn through them and rise above it with utmost confidence and resilience .It has taught me to be more hardworking and accept myself at my worst as well.
2016 taught me that even in the toughest of times I can get through it with help and support and my strength
