Something 2016 taught me is.........
2016 taught me that you can't always try and control every situation. You will feel defeated a lot of the time. Also your parents aren't perfect :)

2016 taught me that I can get through anything if I set my mind to it. Also, I learned that I need to take care of myself and maintain independence and get alone time everyday. (Still learning those.)
