back in high school. I bought myself name brand clothes and shoes because my mom was a single parent and couldnt afford to spend money on things we didnt need. She provided only the necessities. I appreciated all the sacrifices she made and never gave her crap for what she could or couldnt give us. I just worked and bought myself all of the things I didnt need but wanted lol.

Ya, I know what you mean. Life was way simpler back then. Hopefully you can still enjoy the simple things in life, like the smell of rain or whatever you like.
Oh I bought a camera for myself when I was about 12 took me months to save up enough. I loved that thing took pictures everywhere.

When I got my first salary, I got myself a laptop. Still have it by the way but now it's broken and sadly, I can't afford a new one even though now my salary is twice bigger so I'd have to use something like https://www.everyday-loans.co.uk/bad-credit-loans/ to solve the problem. Living without a laptop brings some troubles even though I still have a smartphone and PC at home.

@blissedNblessed I had a Godmother who always said that you have to spend your 1st pay check in a new job on something for your head, it was a superstition she held. I wanna say got I some hair clips or ponytail holders. Little pratical things.
