@MissNigel Without knowing your age range, I am not sure how best to reply. If you are school age, there are usually plenty of clubs to join on campus. If you are an adult, volunteering for a cause dear to you could give you a built-in shared interest with the other volunteers, plus it would give you a sense of purpose.

Today I feel vulnerable because I feel as if I'm not connected to myself and that anything I do or say isn't really me.

I feel vulnerable today because I let my past overcome my present life. I dwell on it no matter how far away the event took place. It's not just today I feel vulnerable. It is everyday. Everyday I look in the mirror and think about it. Everyday I think of all the ways I could have changed it. Everyday I remember that I can not change the past. Everyday I let my past control me. That is why I am feeling vulnerable.

Yesterday I was feeling very vulnerable because I was drunk. I use alcohol as coping mechanism but the more I drink, the more prone I am to anixety attacks.

@strugglingmegan But maybe you got drunk because you were feeling vulnerable? So then you have a never-ending cycle of vulnerability and drinking. Is that really how you had envisioned your life? Is there more you could be doing with something as precious as your future?

@AngelaCarrington I think that may be true now that I think about it. I just feel more comfortable in social situations when in drunk but in the end it all ends the same way. Thank you for your wise words smiley

Because in every photo friends take of me I believe I look ugly and fat af. Maybe it's the truth I don't know

I need someone to look at me and my body and tell me objectively what I actually look like

@kpopisdope Giiiirrrrrl! Same! The camera hates me! There is no such thing as "objective" when it comes to looks. We all have our sack of rocks, you know? Walk tall, speak kindly of yourself and others, and your true beauty will shine!

@AngelaCarrington I do hope I'll be able to confidently let others take photos of me and not think I look absolutely terrible

I had to let a stray dog in a critical condition go. It would take an hour to bring him to the vet, and that hour was too long. He was literally dying in front of me, not taking any food or water, hiding from the world, with the most desperate look in his barely opening eyes. It hit my impossible desire to be invincible in any way. Sleep well fella, you sure are in a painless and carefree place now. I love you.

@MadMonk I'm so sorry :(((( and thank you very much for accompanying this poor thing in his last trip. He's gone to the rainbow. Hug you and share your sadness.

@PennyUA Thank you for such kind words :) according to the local people, he was one old chap and it'd be a matter of days, up to weeks. At least poor boy is no longer suffering - I'm guessing he had a brain damage, some tumour on his ear among others.
